Your old stuff could be new and unforgettable for someone else!
We really wanted Tasku to include a place where people could leave unneeded clothes and other things in order to give them a new life. Uuskasutuskeskus (Re-use Centre) was happy to help and our good cooperation resulted in opening of a re-use locker at Tasku in the spring of 2021.
The re-use locker of Tasku is intended for clean, undamaged items: garments, footwear, books, toys, home textiles, sports equipment, china, vases and other things. The locker has two separate doors for fragile items, the opening for other items is located in the middle of the locker.
We cherish the knowledge that all items collected via the re-use locker are re-used via Uuskasutuskeskus’ shops in Tartu. The donations contribute to saving the environment and supporting the local community.
The re-use locker is located next to the elevators near the entrance on the Coach Station side and can be accessed daily 8-22.
As an initiative of the Tasku Centre, the opening of the re-use locker was a part of the Estiko Group’s programme of the Year of Green Actions.
